Terms of Service
1. Who we are
The FPL Edge ("we", "us") provides Fantasy Premier League analysis and recommendations through thefpledge.com and associated apps (the "Service"). Contact: admin@thefpledge.com.
2. What the Service is (and isn't)
The Service reads publicly available Fantasy Premier League data for the team ID you give us and produces suggestions. We never ask for your FPL password and cannot change your team. Suggestions are opinions generated by software; fantasy football outcomes are uncertain and we make no promise about points, rank or prizes. You are responsible for every change you make on the Fantasy Premier League site.
3. Not affiliated
The FPL Edge is independent and is not endorsed by, affiliated with or sponsored by the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League or any club. All names and marks belong to their owners.
4. Your account
You must be 16 or over, give accurate details, keep your password secure and not share your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Account screen; this removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or resell the Service, or use it to breach the Fantasy Premier League terms.
6. Subscriptions and payment
The Service is a paid subscription. We offer a monthly plan, which renews automatically each month until you cancel, and a season pass, which covers the remainder of the current Fantasy Premier League season and does not renew. Prices are shown at purchase in your currency and include any VAT or GST that applies to you.
Payment is taken by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase: Stripe is the seller named on your receipt and card statement, collects any VAT or GST due, and handles refunds and disputes under its own terms. We never see or store your card number. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method at the start of each billing period.
Cancelling. You can cancel the monthly plan at any time from your Account page; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for and are not charged again. The season pass ends automatically when the season ends.
Refunds and the cooling-off period. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. Because the Service delivers its recommendations immediately, by subscribing you ask us to start straight away and acknowledge that once a gameweek recommendation has been delivered to you the right to a full refund may be reduced by the value of what has been supplied. Outside that, subscriptions are non-refundable, except where we are required by law or where the Service has failed to deliver a recommendation for a gameweek you paid for, in which case we will refund that gameweek on request.
Free trial. The monthly plan may start with a free trial. We take your card details at sign-up and tell you the exact date of the first charge; you can cancel at any time before that date from your account and you will not be charged. One free trial per person: a second trial on the same email address or the same card is ended without charge and the plan is offered without a trial. The season pass has no trial.
Upgrading. A monthly subscriber can switch to the season pass at any time it is offered. The unused days of the current paid month are credited against the season pass price; earlier months are not refundable. The monthly plan stops at the moment of the upgrade and is not charged again.
Price changes. We may change prices for future periods; we will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects a renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
Founder accounts. Some early accounts have been granted permanent free access at our discretion. This is a gift, not a contractual right, and may be withdrawn if the account breaches these terms.
7. Availability and changes
We aim for the Service to be available but do not guarantee it. We may change or withdraw features, and we may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts there have jurisdiction, without affecting your consumer rights where you live.
10. Changes to these terms
We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email; continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
